Rodríguez studied photography in the School of Visual Arts and in the Photojournalism and Documentary Photography Program at the International Center of Photography in New York City.

Joseph continues to use photography to shed light on issues such as immigration, incarceration, and poverty. Joseph’s body of work speaks for itself, and he has inspired countless photographers and artists, His legacy as one of the most committed and generous documentarians of our time is clear.
